Choshinsung (Supernova) was originally a 5-membered group under GM (merged with MNet Media before they debuted). Ex-trainee, Han JiHoo dropped out shortly before their debut because his dream to be an actor. He even recorded the debut album, shot album photos with the rest of the members.



- Jinon, Geonil, Kwangsoo, Sungje, Yoonhak, Jihyuk-

After Jihoo left the group, they added 2 new members, they are Yoonhak (leader of the group), and Jinchul (or Jinon, F.Cuz leader now) and make it a 6-membered group. Before they have group name, people called them as "GM 6-membered group". For some unknown reason, they replace Jinon with older trainee, Sungmo, and become Supernova we know now.

Supernova name was chosen from a list of numerous fan contributions. Just like their name suggest, they are gearing up to explode onto different entertainment venues, showing off their talents as singers, dancers, and actors after two and a half years of extensive vocal, dancing, and acting training. To distinguish themselves from other boybands, they sports a formal look over casual attire - accentuating their masculine appeal.

All members took part in "Kimi Ni Love Song Wo" a movie by Universal Japan.
