A representative refuted the theory that Chansung of 2PM has been cast in a Japanese drama, saying "that has not been decided."
On the 14th, a representative of JYP Entertainment explained through a phone call: "It is not true that he will be appearing in a Japanese drama. Chansung is currently busy promoting a new song in Japan. There is a rumor going around the internet that a Korean idol has been cast in a Japanese drama, but it's not Chansung."
A certain media outlet reported that Chansung would be appearing in "My 99 Days with a Star" on Fuji TV to be broadcasted sometime in October of this year. "My 99 Days with a Star" is a love comedy about the 99 days spent between a top Korean actress and a regular 40 year old Japanese who works part time at a security firm.
It has recently become a hot topic that Kim Taehee and Nishijima Hidetoshi have been selected for the main roles.
