The "sexy diva" G.NA (25) who recently came back with her second mini-album "Top Girl" spoke out about her great love for her parents.

In a recent interview with Sports Seoul, G.NA smiled revealing "Not too long ago, I received my parts of the profits from my last album's promotions and the appearance fees in the CFs I was in. Since it was the first time I've received money ever since I've entered the entertainment world six years ago, it felt really special. I gave a present to my mom who went through a lot and didn't even touch a penny for all this time. I told her "Mom, you have to give me pocket money in return !"

G.NA shined in the first part of this year. After her first single "I'll Back off so you can leave", she worked with Big Hit and released her first full album "Black & White". G.NA is also endorsing seven different brands at the moment such as Calvin Klein Jeans, Lefee, Juvis, Miero or LG Electronics, making her a "sexy icon".

G.NA then added : "My father passed away early so I'm always thankful to my mother who raised me and took care of me by herself. When I left Canada for Korea for the first time to become a singer in 2005, when my group "Five Girls" disbanded in 2007 and I went through a hard time, or even my trainee days, it really feels like everything went by like a flash."

G.NA, who is known to be the 'trendsetter of the entertainment industry has a thrifty side of her that differs from what's seen on the outside.

G.NA, who only gets 40,000 won of pocket money per month finally said : "To be honest, I don't really spend that much money. I at the utmost buy unneccessary things. I usually buy a huge stock of my favorite jelly at once but that is the only purchase you could call "excessive". I don't even own a brand-name bag. Last spring, I starred in Lim Jung-hee sunbaenim's "Golden Lady" music video and received the brand-name bag I used in the video as a present.
