Through the help of JYJ member Junsu, a school has been built and named before him in Cambodia.

On December 30th, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that a ribbon-cutting and opening ceremony for the school was held in the region of Pursat on December 28th. The school that took five months to build includes six classroom, a bathroom and a clean water supply system.

Around 500 people, including students, parents, village officials and Junsu's mother Yoon Young Mi attended the ceremony. Due to busy schedule in rehearsing for his new musical "Elizabeth", Junsu was unable to take part in the ceremony.

Instead, Junsu delivered a written message saying, "I'd like to visit next time and sing and play soccer with the students."

During the opening ceremony, Junsu's mother expressed, "I hope to name this school the ‘Xiah Junsu Evergreen School’ so that the students can preserve dreams as fresh and green as the trees and grow their own futures. I hope that everyone will grow up to become an important leader of our future."

Junsu's latest deed came through the Korea branch of ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) where he has been donating money since 2008.
