Singer IU appeared on the poster of Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea.

According to the organising committee on Jan 10th, IU, the official ambassador of the event would be the model on the 7th official poster for the event.

In May 2011, IU sang the theme song, 'Stories told by the Sea' and also participated in other official promotion events.

In the poster, standing in the sea with light filtering in from the top, IU recalls her past through the sea, while dreaming of the future, expressing the theme of the Yeosu Expo, "The Living Ocean and Coast".

Some 5000 posters will be printed and put up at the airport, train stations, passenger terminals and other public venues.

The event will last from May 12th to Aug 12th.
