On January 10th, a representative from the new singing audition show, "The Voice of Korea", revealed that the four singer-celebrities inluding Shin Seung-hun, Kang Ta, Gil and Baek Ji-young will be the coaches of contestants on the program.
"The aspect of the program that appealed to me was the chance to be able to help individuals learn and grow. Being able to enhance a contestant's individuality and unleash their potential while being their encourager and supporter was what prompted me to take part in the show", said Shin.
Meanwhile a program director of the show said that the new program was unlike any other currently airing.
"Contestants are important, but we are of the stance that having professional singers with their experience, giving support and one-on-one coaching can transform a solid performer into a super star. In that respect, our show is unlike any other singing survival show", said the show's representative.
The program, set to air for the first time on February 10th, will consist of the four celebrities mentoring and coaching contestants as they battle other contestants on the show to seize first place.
