Singer IU is creating a buzz with her close resemblance to an animation character.

Recently, some photos titled "IU, singing a theme song of an animation" have been uploaded in an online community board.

The photo shows IU singing the theme song for the animation "Strawberry Fraisier" back on 2010. IU displays her adorable charms as her big eyes and small face show close resemblance to the main character, "Kam Dal Gi".

Netizens commented, "They look exactly alike", "IU was cute back then too" and "She may as well be an anime character".
