SHINee has broken the record for an international artist for ranking 2nd at the DVD oricon charts. On the 18th of January, it has been revealed that their first DVD "SHINee the first Japanese Concert - SHINee World" ranked 2nd in the dvd charts.

SHINee received outstanding sales for their album breaking the last record set by an international artist on the charts. 2pm made the record first by ranking 4th on the DVD charts, however SHINee has broken this record and shows a promising career in Japan.

SHINee debuted in Japan last June with their debut single "replay" and they have been promoting in Japan since, Their single has also received a warm welcome with it receiving over 90,000 album sales.
