It has been revealed that the leader of Co-Ed's sub-unit 5Dolls, Soomi, will be leaving the group.
According to the group's agency, Core Contents Media on February 17th, Soomi will leave 5Dolls to focus on her solo activities. "Soomi decided she wanted to go solo, so she made the decision to leave the group," a representative explained.
Core Contents Media also announced that Soomi will be replaced by new member Han Na Yun. The 21-year old new member spent her elementary years in the United States. She is said to speak English fluently and can play five instruments including piano and guitar.
5Dolls will continue their activities as a 5-member group with members Na Yun, Hyoyoung, Hyewon, Chanmi and Eunkyo.
Meanwhile, Co-Ed's male sub-unit SPEED has recently released their first single, "Lovey Dovey Plus", a re-make of labelmates T-ara's hit single "Lovey Dovey."
