2012.05.29
The indie rock band “Hello Sea” were awarded the Album Of The Month award for the 6th Olle Music Indie Awards.
The awards ceremony was held on May 26th at the Mapo Art Center, where the band was presented with the honors.
Hello Sea had released “Pink Revolution” this past February, and have been receiving love from their fans despite the fact that they’re not big faces on TV broadcasts. “Pink Revolution” was noted for the band having matured from youth to young adults, in turn displaying a more powerful sound.
This month’s Rookie Award was given to Burnout House. It’s been a little over a year since the group formed, and they’ve been gaining popularity for their solid live performances and simple yet sweet melodies.
Peter Pan Complex was awarded the Artist Of The Month honors. It’s been over ten years since they formed, considered real veterans on the indie scene. They released a new album this past March that featured a new more electro-sound.
