Malaysian singer and former Soulstreet member Zain Amri also known as Zain recently released his solo debut album entitled “Just Zain”. The album features a mix of both English and Malay songs with Asian, R&B and pop influence, and featuring special appearances by hip-hop artiste Caprice and rap freestyle champion Kraft.

The highlight of the album is “Lagu Ini”, which is a local version of a Korean hit ballad “This Song”, composed by Park Jin Young of JYP Entertainment company and made popular by the group 2AM.

Zain became the first Malaysian artist to be given the privilege of recording a JYP hit song in a different language. The rights were given by JYP Publishing via Sony/ATV Publishing, Malaysia. JYP himself offered to give him the original music of “This Song.”
