JYJ’s Park Yoochun is impressed by fellow member Kim Junsu’s solo album activities.
Park Yoochun, who met with journalists on 31 May, said, “If Junsu were born in America, he would surely cook up a storm. ‘Asia’s Number 1′ suits him perfectly.”
Kim Junsu recently released his solo album “XIA-Tarantallegra”, and is holding an Asia Tour which began in Seoul. Park Yoochun said, “I was not able to go watch Junsu’s concert due to the filming for ‘Rooftop Prince’. If my schedules permit, I may go and watch Junsu’s concert overseas in the near future.”
With regard to Kim Junsu releasing a solo album, the JYJ members are full of praise. Park Yoochun revealed, “I feel that it is a pity that I was not able to show everyone the side of me making music through my individual activities. I was also not able to freely express myself through music. So when news came out of Junsu’s solo album, I told him, ‘Hurry up and prepare and release it.’.”
Park Yoochun showed strong faith in Junsu when he went on to say, “Just seeing Junsu’s solo album can relieve thirst. I had the confidence and a sense of anticipation that he would work hard to produce something that was very different from the other current groups.” At the same time, Park Yoochun also laughed and said, “It seems that there is nothing that he does not dare to do, so it seems JYJ will shine brighter.”
So does Park Yoochun himself have plans to release a solo album? He said, ” Ever since the time I was in TVXQ, at SM Entertainment, I had thoughts of releasing a solo album at least once. I want to try producing an album of a style like that of 015B and senior Yoo Jae Ha, an album with songs that tell a story. If an opportunity arises, I want to try it at least once.” “First, I must determine the furthest I can go. Then I need to make my choices and fulfill them one by one.”
