Filming has kicked off for Kim Hyun Joong’s upcoming new television drama.

On July 10th, the first filming for upcoming drama ‘City Conquest’ was held at the Japan’s Nikko Edomura theme park with Kim Hyun Joong, Nam Gung Min, Park Hyo Joon and Jung Yu Mi.

Nikko is a city known for its historical attractions, with many shrines and temples designated as World Heritage Sites.

‘City Conquest’ is about facing the illegalities and evil of our society based on the best selling manga of the same title by cartoonist Shin Hyung Bin. The drama is directed by Yang Yoon Ho from ‘IRIS’, ‘Fighter of the Wind’ and ‘Holy Day’ and it is written by Hwang Joo Ha.
