SBS’ popular survival audition show ‘K-Pop Star’ will be releasing a book containing the behind stories of the first season’s contestants.
A staff from the show announced on July 17th, “In hopes that the moments of laughter and tears of the ‘K-Pop Star’ contestants will be remembered, we decided to make a book that records them all.”
The book will include interviews, pictorials and behind-the-scene stories about the contestants that weren’t shown on the show itself. It will also talk about the Big 3 agencies, SM, YG and JYP Entertainments’ audition casting know-hows and trainings.
Regarding the book release, a production staff commented, “We have decided to release this book based on the suggestion by the publishing company after finishing up the first season. We thank everyone who really made the audition program successful. We hope to discover even more talents with season 2.”
