On the 20th in Nonhyun-dong Seoul, BEAST’s 5th mini album ‘Midnight Sun’ press conference was held at double eight lounge bar ‘Ciel’ with members Yoon Doojoon, Lee Kikwang, Yong Junhyung, Yang Yoseob, and Son Dongwoon present.
With many large scale idol groups making comebacks and rookie groups debuting, BEAST can’t help feel pressured about having had a break for a year and 2 months.
Member Hyunseung said “Nowadays it’s a system where albums come out quickly so we can’t help but feel anxious about our long break. However we thought that if we came out with good music, people who turned their eyes to new singers for a while will come find us again.”
BEAST who has been around for 4 years can’t help but fear ‘change’ but it was an element that they had to venture into. The BEAST members feel particular attachment to this album having chosen and worked on each song carefully, putting their heads together for each decision.
This day through the “It’s a Beautiful Night” music video that was previewed it showed the members enjoying a party instead of doing choreography, portraying high spirited youth in an atmosphere that fits with well with the summer.
However there were hints of seeing ‘kal-goonmoo*’ on stage. Also there will be a separate music video released that includes the choreography." />
