Psy has revealed he will be releasing a follow-up song and music video to “Gangnam Style”!
According to a report by local media, Psy is currently working on a new version of “Gangnam Style.” In the new version, 4minute’s HyunA, who also appeared in the initial music video, will sing the key phrase in the chorus: “Oppa Gangnam Style.”
The sequel track will have the same melody as its predecessor, but with different lyrics. It will be sung from the woman’s point of view and will change some of the lyrics accordingly such the “Oppa is Gangnam Style” to “Oppa is exactly my style.”
The decision to make the subsequent version of the song was made due to the video’s huge popularity at home and abroad. According to Psy, “We already recorded the new song and shot the music video, but still haven’t decided when to release them.”
