FT Island’s Hongki covers BoA and TVXQ on ‘M! Countdown’

Having been appointed as the new host for Mnet's weekly music program, ‘M! Countdown’, FT Island’s frontman Lee Hongki delivered a special performance of songs that represent the Korean wave.
Hongki performed an acoustic version of BoA’s “No. 1”. The song is meaningful as it is the first Korean song to reach the number one spot on Japan’s Oricon Chart, and marked the start of the K-Pop boom.
He also reinterpreted DBSK’s hit song “Mirotic” and ballad singer Shin Seung Hun’s “I Believe” in his own unique style.
