Just few months after her debut as a member of girl group Hello Venus, Yoo Ara has been cast in MBC’s new sitcom tentatively titled “What About Mom?” alongside INFINITE’s L.

In the sitcom, Yoo Ara will be playing the role of a part-time waitress who works at actress Na Moon Hee’s restaurant. She will play the outgoing and perky girl who stands up to the owner and does something off the wall, contrasting to her feminine persona.

Yoo Ara remarked, “I am honored and glad to have an opportunity to feature in a sitcom, just 4 months after debuting with Hello Venus. I will prepare for this role and show the best of myself to the viewers.”

“What About Mom?” tells about people who seek happiness. The sitcom is the follow-up production for ‘Standby’ and will be airing its first episode on October 8th.
