Psy pledged to perform his signature horse-riding dance “half-naked” if his global hit “Gangnam Style” tops the US Billboard chart.
On September 25, Psy held a press conference at a hotel in Gangnam with around 100 reporters from Korea, as well as the United States, France and Singapore attending. The singer pledged, “If I do become number one on Billboard, I’d dare to dance half-naked in front of a large crowd of people.”
Psy went on to say that he’d choose a prominent location for the stunt, “I would pick a place, preferably in front of Seoul City Hall.”
The song “Gangnam Style” is currently ranked 11 on the chart’s “Top 100” list. Psy expressed his hopes of reaching the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 100 chart, “I remember getting really excited when it ranked 64th. But now I’m getting a little bit excited about possibly making the No. 1 spot.”
