Wonder Girls’ Sunye will be a guest speaker at George Washington University.
The Republic of Korea Embassy and the Korean Cultural Industry Foundation has come together to hold a forum at Washington D.C’s George Washington University to spread the word of the ‘Hallyu wave’
Titled, ‘Global Hallyu Forum – Riding the Hallyu Wave’, Sunye will voice out her opinions about the Korean culture being spread around the world by relating it to her field experiences as one of the active K-pop idol stars.
Other speakers will include Marja Vongerichten, a Korean-American adoptee known for the documentary series “Kimchi Chronicles,” Canadian K-pop blogger Mark Russell and Grady Hendricks, a founding member of the New York Asian Film Festival.
