Band Nell’s Kim Jongwan participated in idol group Infinite’s Kim Sunggyu’s first solo mini-album ‘Another Me’ as a composer and lyricist.

Sunggyu revealed a track from ‘Another Me’ on the 7th called ‘Shine,’ which Kim Jongwan completely wrote, composed, and even arranged.

Kim Sunggyu has openly stated that his musical roots are Nell, and Kim Jongwan was even more than a mentor to him. Kim Jongwan gifted Sunggyu with ‘Shine’ for ‘Another Me.’ Agency Woollim Entertainment stated, “When Kim Jongwan first said he’d give him a song, Sunggyu was unbelievable delighted,” and “Because of that, Sunggyu was more nervous than ever during recording, and made an effort to learn a lot.”

‘Shine’ takes a genre form of hybrid music. Dream-like intro. The synthesizer that is reminiscent of synth pop. This with an electronic beat and rock-style drive guitar. Instead of his name Sunggyu as an Infinite member, he will be using his birth name Kim Sunggyu.
