KARA’s Seungyeon cast in ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’

KARA’s Han Seungyeon has been cast for her first acting role in the upcoming SBS TV’s drama, ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’.
On February 1, Story TV, the production company of the series announced that Seungyeon was cast as the lead role in new drama series, ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’, alongside actor Yoo Ah In and actress Kim Tae Hee.
The singer will play the role of royal concubine Choi, a woman who was born as a person of humble condition and in the end managed to make her son King Yeongjo. She will be vying for Yoo Ah In’s love against Kim Tae Hee.
Her label DSP Media said, “Seungyeon has decided to appear in ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’ after careful consideration. She has made cameos before and starred in Japanese dramas before, but this is her first time acting in a historical genre drama. She’s practicing a lot for the series now.”
