Rookie girl group GI will soon make their official debut with a completely different concept.

GI, which stands for “Global Icon”, consists of five members, Hayeon, OneKet, Eunji, AI and Aram. In the revealed teaser image, four out of the five members are seen donning short hair and flaunting a tomboyish charms. This is a completely different route from typical girl groups.

According to their label Shimtong Entertainment, “We have a different concept and style from other cute and sexy girl groups that are introduced almost once every week. The group will make a remarkable presence in a monotonous entertainment scene.”

Their teaser will be released on March 26th before making official debut on April 3.
