The actress edition of the popular variety show ‘Grandpas Over Flowers’ has been officially named as ‘Noonas Over Flowers’. On October 30, Producer Na Young Seok announced that the new version of ‘Grandpas Over Flowers’ will be renamed ‘Noonas Over Flowers’, fitting for the new cast of four actresses and Lee Seung Gi. Regarding on the title, Na Young Seok explained, “All the actresses were very curious about various things and had cute personalities when I met them through pre-interviews, although their ages are so different. So, I have decided to call them ‘noona’ as it seems friendlier than ‘grandma’ or ‘mom’ and also suits the actresses better.” The ‘noonas’ on the show will be veteran actresses Yoon Yeo Jung, Kim Ja Oak, Kim Hee Ae, Lee Mi Yeon, along with a new baggage boy Lee Seung Gi. They will be leaving for Croatia on October 31 while the broadcast will air at the end of November.
