Super Junior’s Kangin is set for a return to the big screen through upcoming movie ‘Cat Funeral’. According to SM Entertainment, Kangin has been cast as the male leading role of romance movie ‘Cat Funeral’. He will be playing an indie musician named Dong Hoon. ‘Cat Funeral’ is based on a popular web comic of the same name, and will focus on a two days and one night journey of separated couple who reunites for the funeral of the girl’s cat. A production crew stated, “We decided to cast Kangin for the role because he can show both innocence and sadness with his eyes. We believe he can perfectly reprise the role of Dong Hoon.” ‘Cat Funeral’ will begin filming in the middle of November and will be released early next year.
