Previously there were articles saying that child actress Kim So Hyun and Lee Yeon Hee will star in drama "Dae Jang Geum 2".

Regarding the news, Sidus HQ - Kim Soo Hyun's agency said,"It's true that Kim So Hyun received the casting offer for "Dae Jang Geum 2" and she is just one of the many candidates for the role","She's still considering about it carefully and hasn't made any decision yet".

For Lee Yeon Hee, SM Entertainment denied the news and said that she didn't receive any offer to star in the drama.

"Dae Jang Geum 2" will revolve around Dae Jang Geum after she left the palace when she became a mother and also a teacher. Lee Young Ae previously successfully portraited the role in the original drama so many people are expecting to see her on the screen again. Kim So Hyun will likely to play as Dae Jang Geum's daughter.

The drama is scheduled to be broadcast in October.
