Rapper Swings announces himself through Facebook that he is enlisting on November 25 at 306 battalion in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggido and will serve as an active duty soldier.
Unfortunately, Swings failed to pass KATUSA* (Korean Augmentation To the United States Army) and thus serving as an active duty soldier. He also expresses his gratitude and apologizes for causing worries to his fans.
He assures fans that he will come back after serving the country with pride. Meanwhile, before his enlistment, Swings will release a single on 21st titled 'I'll Be Back', and will have last concert on 23rd. Finally on 25th, he will publish a book titled 'Power'.
*KATUSA, soldiers are Republic of Korea service members who work in U.S. units and alongside U.S. Army Soldiers. To become KATUSA, applicants require taking standardized English tests (usually the TOEIC). Then, a lottery is drawn from qualified applicants." (
