Former MBLAQ member Thunder has been confirmed to star in a new MBC drama.
On March 2nd, a rep from MBC announced that Thunder will star in upcoming drama 'Let The Girl Cry'. He will take the role of Hyun Seo, a son of a character played by Ha Hee Ra. Hyun Soo is described as a 20-year-old boy who was brought up in a wealthy background, but instead he has a dark character.
This will be Thunder's first activity ever since his withdrawal from MBLAQ. He's currently managed by APOP Entertainment, the agency of Brown Eyed Girls' Gain and producer Jo Young Chul.
'Let The Girl Cry' will tell the story of a woman who lost her only son, and later started working at the cafeteria of her son's school so that she can keep the memories of her son.
Written by Ha Chung Ok('Gold, Appear!') and directed by Kim Geun Hong('Gye Baek', 'Guam Heojoon'), the drama is scheduled to follow 'Rosy Lovers' and broacast in April.
