Gong Hyo Jin is likely to make her onscreen return in KBS's upcoming variety drama 'Producer'.

According to the actress's agency on March 2nd, Gong Hyo Jin indeed received the offer to star in 'Producer', but her appearance has yet to be confirmed. Her role is said to be a variety program PD who has been working in the field for 10 years.

Cha Tae Hyun has been confirmed for the drama while Kim Soo Hyun and IU are currently in discussion.

'Producer' is said to be a unique yet comical drama with the background set at a broadcast station. The drama will be directed by Seo Soo Min, who has worked for 'Gag Concert' and '2 Days 1 Night' season 3, and written by Park Eun Ji, the writer of 'You Who Came From The Stars', 'My Husband Got A Family'.

The filming will start in March and broadcast in April.
