IU helps contribute to the happiness of many children on Children's Day by making donation.

It was revealed that the singer secretly donated 100 million won under her name to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation on May 4th. According to Star News, no other people knew about her donation except those closest to her.

A rep from the foundation said,"IU has donated 100 million yesterday under her name. Today is Children's Day when children receive not only warm love from their parents but also gifts as well. But since the children from low-income families might be lonely today, she has donated 100 million won in order to share with those children. She has also volunteered to help disabled children without others knowing".

Meanwhile, IU's starring in KBS's 'Producer' will go on air on May 15th.
