AOA's 'Chocolate' and Seventeen's 'Ah Yeah' deemed inappropriate for broadcast by KBS
2015.06.17
New songs from AOA and Seventeen have been banned by KBS.
According to KBS on June 17th, AOA's 'Chocolate' from their upcoming mini album 'Heart Attack' has been flagged as unfit for broadcast due to the use of vulgar, profanity and abusive language from its lyrics.
For Seventeen's 'Ah Yeah', the song was called out for the certain mention of product names, which applied the same for Pippi Band's 'Robot Ganadaramabasa' and Verbal Jint & Sanchez's 'Hate'.
Regarding the issue, FNC Entertainment responsed that they are planning to summit for reconsideration from KBS after modifying the lyrics, and since it's not the title track so it won't cause any problem to the group's broadcast activities.
Pledis Entertainment also said that they have no plans to request for a redeliberation since it's not the song that they are promoting. They just temporarily changed the lyrics for their debut showcase on cable channel.
