Designed by INBLUM, this inspiring space of culture and color is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. This "factory loft" is a living space in a former radio technics factory, an excellent example of a rehabilitation of an old structure.
The space exposes the original preserved walls, integrating a hammock to provide its inhabitants the feeling of relaxation. “With minimal means and resources, a truly functional and innovative living space was created. The successful realization of the project has significantly promoted the idea of lofts as living and working spaces in Lithuania.”
A small terrace "attached" to the living room expands the entire unit, making it the perfect spot to have breakfast or coffee during hot summer mornings. Simple light bulbs hang from the ceiling to enhance the industrial-like atmosphere, and a pleasant simplicity dominates the interior. The apartment also ”took the 1st Prize at the Golden Palette, also receiving an award for the original furniture at the Interior of the Year ‘09.”
