This stunning tropical bungalow-inspired residence in Singapore was completed by Guz Architects.
The architects gave the Dalvey Road House an exotic vibe, with nature taking the lead in the design scheme. The challenging triangular site with sloping terrain and narrow entrance was the client's dream location for a tropical getaway.
Inspired by her visit to Fallingwater (by Frank Lloyd Wright), the owner commissioned Guz Architects to develop a contemporary home. According to the official description, this house “is very much in keeping with the spirit of Fallingwater, whose design seamlessly integrates nature into the home. Just as Fallingwater’s stair shaped cantilevers emphasized its horizontal features, Guz used the different levels to stratify the different generations of the family living under one roof“.
