The Tiny Project is an ingeniously-designed small house on wheels measuring 8 feet by 20 feet. Designed by Alek Lisefski, the unconventional project is currently home to Lisefski, his girlfriend, and their dog. The small home has a passive solar system, 10 windows and a full-glass door for plenty of light. The home is also equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances which include a 2-burner marine-style propane range, propane on-demand hot water heater, compact combo washer/dryer unit, and refrigerator with freezer.

This little home only needs an extension cord and water hose from the main house on the property where its park to operate. Once it finds a more permanent location, solar panels, water collection and so on will be added to make the house as self-sustaining as possible.

“Tiny houses are one way in which the next generation will be able to overcome our country’s current economic disparity and ever-rising housing and land costs. Hopefully, this little house can inspire others to choose a similar way of living“, the designer stated.
