Haymitch Abernathy slaps a tearful Katniss Everdeen to give her a wake up call in the latest Hunger Games: Catching Fire clip below. Haymitch  tells Katniss and fellow Hunger Games survivor Peta Mellark that their job is to be "a distraction so people forget what the real problems are."

Lionsgate posted the video on the movie's Facebook page after airing it during a panel featuring actors Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth as well as director Francis Lawrence.

In Catching Fire, victors of past Hunger Games (see below) will compete in the 75th Hunger Games, a.k.a. the third Quarter Quell.
