Located along Cove Drive in Sentosa, the Diamond House by Formwerkz Architects features unusual geometry created using materials like iron wood, oak and travertine. Due to its close
proximity to the street and neighboring houses, the multi-faceted shape helps to shield the interiors from curious onlookers while protecting the inhabitants privacy. The house also features a swimming pool, a man-made lake and gardens.
Here's more from the architects:
“...The front and
side facades are pared down with openings strategically position to
allow optimal daylighting with minimum compromise in privacy. The
sloping walls at the corners allow for a smaller footprint while
expanding the spatial volume at upper levels”.
