The Surf Snowdonia is a man made surf pool. Slated to be a 995 foot long artificial lake, it is capable of generating six foot waves. The best part? No sharks, son!
It will be located in the village of Dolgarrog, in the foothills of UK's Snowdonia National Park. The operators can tailor wave height, shape, speed or even the temperature of the lake.
A prototype has been built in San Sebastion, Spain, where pro surfers and novices have flocked to it to test its waves. Check out a video of it below:
