There are plenty of beautiful women who have graced the covers of Playboy magazine, but not everyone makes the cut if Hugh Hefner says something about it. Here are the top 10 celebrities that have been publicly rejected to get naked in the iconic men's magazine:
Pia Rizza
Back in 2013, the "Mob Wives" reality television star submitted her nudes to the men’s magazine after finding out that someone else was trying to sell them for a profit. Playboy quickly shut that idea down, saying they were not interested in having the 40-year-old in the publication.
Courtney Stodden
The teen bride tweeted the day after her eighteenth birthday that she won't do porn but will pose for Playboy. But Hugh Hefner had something else in mind, and rejected he by saying she looked far too enhanced and didn’t meet the standards of a Playboy model.
t.A.T.u
Most famous for their song 'All the Things She Said', the controversial singing duo were extremely excited to pose for Playboy but Hefner was just not interested at all in seeing them pose naked. But at least they included t.A.T.u in their music section (with their clothes on).
Kate Gosselin
This former reality TV star was reportedly rejected by Playboy after Hefner responded to questions if Kate would pose for Playboy by stating, "No! No!" and adding, "I don’t think she’s a celebrity."
Audrina Patridge
The Former Hills star had professional nude photos taken of her when she was just 19-years-old. The photos were reportedly submitted to Playboy, but the famous magazine turned her down. Two years after the show ended, her topless photos were "accidentally" leaked online, but Playboy still had no interest as they felt she just wasn’t relevant enough.
Michaele Salahi
The White House State dinner crasher had her eyes on a full spread and pictorial in the Playboy magazine, but was later turned down. Her photos did end up on their website... in a section featuring pretty girls willing to take off their clothes off but just didn't make the cut to be featured in the actual magazine.
Bridget Marquardt
Bridget was initially denied as a Playmate by Playboy after several failed test shoots. She was then invited by Hugh Hefner to be one of his "girlfriends" the show Girls Next Door. She ultimately ended up getting to grace the pages of Playboy alongside Hugh Hefner’s other girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison.
Kelly Osbourne
Back in 2007, Kelly expressed her interest in posing for Playboy but was brushed off by Hefner who said “I can’t see it happening somehow; we don’t airbrush to that extent.” Harsh words, but Kelly has since upgraded her look from gothic to chic-feminine. Wonder what Hefner thinks of her now?
Farrah Abraham
The most notorious "Teen Mom" from the MTV reality television series is still desperately trying to hold on to her fame. After leaking out a "sex tape" with James Deen, Farrah tried to reach out to Playboy but was turned down twice by the mag because she just wasn't very "natural looking."
Lindsay Lohan
The troubled starlet might have graced the cover of the January 2012 edition of Playboy, but her first set of photos were initially rejected because Playboy wanted to go in another direction with her spread.
