The Simpsons Will Have a Full Episode Filmed with Lego

Everything is made better when there's a Lego version of it. Fox will soon air an episode of The Simpsons in Lego form. Or CGI Lego.

The idea for the episode had nothing to do with the recent Lego movie that came out, and it was well before the Simpsons Lego set. According to Matt Selman, executive producer of the show, it started with a couch gag and then snowballed into a full episode back in 2012.

"I think the episode is about: What is awesomeness?" said Selman. "Is a universe that is awesome all the time a universe you truly want to live in?"
