Here's a very interesting photoshoot by photographer Jesús Chapa-Malacara - dance photography, but done with a twist.
Chapa-Malacara intends to tell the story of a dancer's movement in between poses. The result is pretty damn stunning. He documents as much of dance "as a language" as possible and each is capturing one movement with the glossary of ballet moves from beginning to end.
Chapa-Malacara doesn't use Photoshop or special equipment either, which makes this photoshoot so interesting.
A
Kickstarter campaign to help continue the project is offering a series of prints with a little something extra. Supporters can see all the prints come to life in video format when a special app is pointed at the images.
