The morning hours before work might be the key to a successful and healthy lifestyle. Rising early in the morning is a common trait found in many CEOs, and other influential people. According to Inc. Magazine, morning people have been found to be more proactive and more productive. Here are five things successful people do before 8am:

Exercise
Exercising before work gives you a boost of energy for the day. And if you think your body isn't responsive enough for a 5am jog, just a quick bedside set of pushups or stretching will help wake up your body and prepare you for your day ahead.

Map Out Your Day
Map out your schedule for the day, as well as your goals and to-dos. Reflect and prioritize your activities. While scheduling, add in 10-minute breaks in between stressful meetings and work.

Eat a Healthy Breakfast
We're always in a rush in the morning, so we skip breakfast. It's not healthy. Take the time to eat breakfast. You'll feel healthier and more alert.

Visualize
Visualize your day ahead of you. Focus on the successes you'll have. Just a minute of visualization and positive thinking can help improve your mood and outlook on your workload for the day.

Make Your Day Top Heavy
Do the least desirable important task on your list first. Get it out of the way, and your day will become progressively easier.
