For The Love Of The Trail - Salomon X-Trail Run 2013

10 November, 2013: The 4th edition of the Malaysian Salomon X-Trail Run recently took place on a brand new route located at Malaysia Agriculture Research and Development Institute (Mardi).
About 2,500 runners gathered around 6 A.M. to take on the 10km trail. It was a true test of traction, stability and endurance for the participants, which included immersing themselves within the natural greenery of MARDI Trail Forest.
Below are the winners from each of the 4 categories:
Men's Open (18 & above) - Encik Muhamad Affindi, clocked in after 28:46 minutes
Men's Veteran (41 & above) - Mr. Casey Lim, clocked in after 29:19 minutes
Women's Open (18 & above) - Ms. Kimberley Yap, clocked in after 31:31 minutes
Women's Veteran (36 & above) - Ms. Lim Hooi Kheong, clocked in after 36:09 minutes
The top three winners in all categories were presented with Trophies and Salomon products worth RM1,000, RM800, RM600 respectively. They also received other prizes from the event sponsors which included World of Sports Malaysia, Salomon, Suunto, Bootcamp Malaysia, Perskindol and Revive.
After the run, participants indulged in other activities such as photo shoots, wall climbing and visiting sales booths set up by sponsors.
The Malaysian Salomon X-Trail Run caters to runners eager for adventure as well as a good adrenalin pumping experience. This annual event is organized by SALOMON as a way of showing appreciation to X-Trail
runners and brand supporters, while also recruiting new
runners to sign up.
