This story pretty much proves how bad the man-made gender gap in China has become. We can only imagine how desperately lonely this guy was when he decided he had no more use for his penis because he couldn't find a girlfriend.

The 26-year-old from the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang had been battling depression over his inability to find love. On Sunday, he made a painful decision to slice off his manhood in order to curb his desire for a partner.

Apparently, he regretted the act soon after. Despite the excruciating pain he was in, he managed to ride his bicycle all the way to a nearby hospital. Tragically, it was there that he realized he had left his disembodied member back home. By the time he had cycled back to retrieve it and returned, it was already too late for doctors to do anything.

Friends of the man said he had been putting in long hours at a local clothing factory where he worked, which convinced him that he would never find the time to meet a woman. They also blamed the hospital for telling him to collect the missing member instead of sending an ambulance.
