The wait is finally over as World of Sports Malaysia has officially launched the 4th edition of the Malaysian Salomon X-Trail Run.



This year's event takes place November 10th at the Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute (MARDI). A total of 2,600 participants have signed up for the 10KM run, surpassing the initial goal of 2,500. Participants will be grouped based on the following 4 categories:

• Men's Open (18 & above)       
• Men's Veteran (41 & above)
• Women's Open (18 & above)
• Women's Veteran (36 & above)

Each participant will each receive special Salomon Dri-Fit Running Tees worth RM89 (Purple for men, and Pink for women). To add to the excitement, Malaysian talent and Salomon brand Ambassador Harith Iskander will be participating in this year's run.

Flag off time on event day is 7:00 a.m. for the Men categories & 7:15 a.m. for the Women categories. Participants will convene at the MAEPS (Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang) car park. They will then run 1.5KM on tar roads, followed by the 7KM trail through the MARDI Trail Forest, before completing the remaining 1.5KM by racing back to the car park.

The top 5 winners from each category will be awarded Trophies + Salomon products worth RM1,000, RM800, RM600, RM400 and RM200 respectively. They will also receive additional prizes from the other participating sponsors.

Participants who complete the trek will receive a Finishers medal, Finishers certificate, and an exclusive Salomon Running pouch worth RM99.90.
