How to Make a Battery With Cola Can and a Penny [VIDEO]

Out in the woods with only a can of cola and a penny, and you've just run out of electricity? Turns out you can actually use a cola can with a penny to create a battery.
YouTuber and Instructables user Go Repairs demonstrates how to make this happen in the video above. You only need the following:
A cola can
A copper coin (like a penny)
A can opener
Crocodile clips
Wire wool
Remove the top of the can with a can opener and clean it out with wire wool. Then pour the soda back inside, and clip one crocodile clip to the penny. Then clip one to the edge of a can and drop the penny into the cola.
The dirty soda battery will power a small LED - It's not enough to give you some juice to call for help if you're really stuck in the wild. But holy heck, this is some cool MacGyver shit.
