A French animal rights group person was seen wrestling away a puppy from a homeless man in central Paris and it is incredibly heartbreaking to watch. The video sees members of the Lilles-based Cause Animale Nord forcibly taking away a man's dog and then leaving. The man unsuccessfully tries to chase the man down.

The video was filmed by Nghi Le Duc, who wrote in the video's description that he was shocked by how activists violently, and mercilessly took the homeless man's friend.


After the video was seen over 1.5 million times since it was uploaded, a Change.org petition has been set up to call for the group to be investigated.

French law does not allow animal protection organizations to confiscate animals without their owner’s consent.
