The term love motel sounds dirty, and in your mind, you're picturing some run down, pretty damn dirty place. In Brazil, this is entirely different. They are aiming to reinvent the motel industry by jazzing it all up with luxurious experiences.

Dubbed "Love Motels," they are popping up all over Sao Paulo.


Rooms come with private saunas and jukeboxes.


There's even indoor swimming pools and personal DJs.


It surely, and definitely, doesn't look like a shady and shabby motel.


Love motels were originally for low-income individuals who needed private rooms for a low rate by the hour.


These ones however, can cost up to hundreds per hour.


The Harmony Motel, offers 11 suites with large hydromassage baths with gold-plated tiling.


The Lush, has ancient Egypt and Rome themed suites, with hot tubs colored in disco lights, and private saunas.


Needless to say, they're way too luxurious for just a tryst.


Some even offer services like Ferrari rides, helicopter adventures, and limousine services.


The idea of these motels were designed so that guests should never have to meet the staff.


Making a love meeting a whole lot more secret.


It looks even nicer than luxury hotels to be honest.


Are love motels the new hotels?


If motels can look this good, shouldn't hotels be even better?
