Nick Woodman likes to experience the stuff he buys. Especially when it comes to a $13 million wave pool. You see, the billionaire founder of GoPro is also a surfer, and he plans to build his own personal wave pool where he can surf all day long without the worry of wind, and possibly sharks.
The whole video was shot entirely on the new Hero4 camera.
The wave pool is the size of six football fields in length and produces six-foot waves once a minute and travels for almost 500 feet before dissipating before it hits the shore.
