A New Kind of Electric Road Will Be Able To Charge Your Electric Car as You Drive

It seems we are almost living in the future already. Electric cars are good for the environment, but the only problem with them is that they are so dependent on the range of their batteries. Now, a new kind of tech is here and it is a new road that will charge them as they drive on it.
Highways England announced that they will be implementing an 18-month trial where they'll be testing roads that have the ability to charge electric cars.
The charging will be wireless too.
Electric cables are placed under the road to generate power, and it is then transferred to coils installed beneath the electric cars that will convert them into electricity for the vehicles.
The UK government plans to invest "£500 million over the next five years to keep Britain at the forefront of this technology."
What do you think? Never ever needing to pump gas again or charge your battery? Sounds good!
