Moments before he died in season 1, Ned Stark looked as if he whispered something. Now, there's a video where you can crank up the volume to hear what he could have said. Was it something about Jon Snow's secret?

Before he died, he did say he would reveal it to Jon.

But things didn't turn out the way he wanted, much to the chagrin of almost every other character on the show.

But look, he might have whispered something under his breath.

If it was a promise, then what could it be? And if so, could it explain that Jon Snow's mother was actually Lyanna Stark and his father, Rhaegar Targaryen? The theory is that Ned pretended to be Jon's dad, at Lyanna's dying request, and that could have been his 'promise.'
